VPCF11Z1BI - Model name issue?

I have a VPCF11Z1BI that I have had repaired by Sony. When it came back from repair I looked at the VAIO Control centre which now reports that the model name is VPCF11Z1EI rather than VPCF11Z1BI ; is this correct?

Looking at the models produced, the only (non-Russian) VPCF11Z model available in Europe is: -

VPCF11Z1E/BI

What is shown on the screen surround?

Hi, my screen says: VPCF11Z1E, my box says VPCF11Z1E/BI, but the model name determined by the VAIO control center and windows says VPCF11Z1EI.

Can somesone that has a uk VPCF11Z1E/BI let me know what the VAIO control center says for model name under the system information tab.


I want to make sure that the correct motherboard has been replaced in the laptop.
