Hi
I have just reinstalled Windows 7 after having some faults with my PC. I have gotten everything else up and running but cannot get the touchscreen to start working. I have installed the drivers from Sony and enabled touch, uninstalled the drivers and reinstalled etc etc but nothing is working. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks
Hi -SeanS.
Which drivers have you installed? Have you installed ALL the Preinstalled Drivers and Utilities for your model or just some of them?
Thanks for the reply, yeah I have installed all of the drivers listed on the support page for this model, the touchscreen is recognised and it says the device is next window optical touch 1950 but it just doesn't do anything when I touch the screen. I'm beginning to wonder if this could be a hardware issue, is there a digitizer cable which could be disconnected perhaps? Although surely if there was a cable disconnected it would recognise this?
Thanks
