Where's the mic?? Guitarist needs help

I just bought a vaio a day back but i cant seem to find the microphone. Ive messed around with all the settings but i still couldnt record. Im a guitarist and i need this bad....please tell me if vaios have built in mics or not!thnaks

Generally VAIO's do not have in-built mic's - what specific model do you have?

I've recorded onto a Vaio with a guitar, I have a K115s laptop. Let me know exactly what it is you want to do, and I'll try and point you in the right direction. For a start a built in microphone would be totally useless for recording what you need so don't worry that it doesn't have one.

You need a proper mic and a mic stand to hold it close to the guitar to get the best results.
