i've contacted vaio and toshiba. toshiba were useles.. saying its a niggly little problem... bah! vaio forwarded me a download from rulers microsoft but that still didnt help.
i change the channel from hdmi 1 to say sky (scart) and then back again and i get no picture. sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt. sometimes i have to boot the system (not nice) from the power button just to get my screen up again. it almost never dispkays the vaio screen when it resumes from sleep in the morning.
its gotten to the stage where i leave the media centre on all the time just so i dont have to reboot. and this is definitely not environmentally friendly.
does anyone know if this can be rectified?
