I have recently purchased a vaio VGN-NR31Z and I am running windows vista. My problem is that my WIFI as stopped working. Cannot see it on the Vaio Smart Network nor can I see the Wireless adaptor on Device Manager. Have reloaded the driver but did not make any difference.
Does any one have any idea what the problem may be.

Do you have the 'Selected Wireless Function' button in the bottom right? If so make sure it is on 2.4 GHz

Hi Mark, sorry but do not know what you mean about "Select Wireless Function on the bottom right" do you mean an icon on the screen next to clock, battery, etc. or on the laptop itself.
There is a WIFI switch on the front left of the laptop and that is switched on. I don't have anything that says no 2.4GHz.
On my Vaio Smart Network I now only have the LAN and the Modem the WIFI use to be there but it is no longer there.

Yes it is the one next to the clock. If you have it double click it;)
