Windows 7 - Does it solve all the VMC problems?

I have an XL201 upgraded to Vista with the TV Pack 2008 and the HD hack.

I am looking to upgrade to W7 soon, but just wanted to ask a few questions:

Does W7MC allow you to scan satellite channels (like the TV Pack)?
Does W7MC allow HD TV (like the TV Pack hack)?
Does W7MC allow you to scan DVB-S2 transponders (unlike the TV Pack!)?

Besides any issues with W7 drivers, are there any missing functions with W7?
What don't people like about W7?

Another question I wanted to ask:

Has W7 solved the problems with the TV Guide where many channels are not updated when using satellite, but are updated when using terrestial?

Dissappointed nobody has given me any feedback yet.
Has nobody used W7 for accessing Satellite TV yet?
