windows media player 11

please help me.if i try to rip,burn or synch on media player 11 i get a message saying my audio codecs are missing.i went to the microsoft website and got error code cood11c7. what audio codecs do i need and where do i get them microsoft dont seem to have them.

Some ideas:
Restore your system to a date you still had your codecs using system restore.
Download and reinstall all your audio related drivers (i.e. Sigmatel audio driver, high
definition audio codecs or whatever hardware you have) from Support.
Install a Codec Pack i.e. K-Lite or similar.
Also look for similar instances with WMP11 using a web search engine.
