I am getting an intermittent signal through my wireless network to my Viao. I have 3 other wireless pcs on the network and they are fine. It cuts me off of MSN messenger, streaming and downloading - really annoying....

You might have the power management of the card enabled. This swithes it down/off when no active data is being passed. Go to the device manager and disable power management for the card/device and you should be OK. Just remember that when you are in this configuration battery usage will be high.

Try getting the latest wireless LAN card drivers from the manufacturers website.
