advice please

Hello I have an NW-A35 and a NW-A45 walkman both of which I use in the car via bluetooth, I tried to listen via the USB port in the car with the lead that came with them but it would not register/play..

I had used the NW-A35 previously by USB in my previous car which I have now changed but  it is exactly the same model car with the same audio yet it will not work, any advice please?
