My use of technology is limited to a desktop PC and a Doro very unsmart phone.
While my wife watches TV I listen to the radio using headphones. The wire is a pain when I need to move around in the room so I am trying to use Bluetooth for the connection. Bought a receiver/transmitter and a pair of Sony WH-C500 headphones.
Setting up I get the audio message confirming that the headphones are switched on and the transmitter light flashes to confirm that it has found a connection. Headphone message confirms this, but then an audible double click and nothing further.
The online manual refers to manual pairing - I presume this is putting the 2 units beside each other. Tried this forum's 8 suggested tips but no joy.
The transmitter leaflet says supported protocol is A2PP and AVRCP.
Is there a reason for this problem?
Hi there,
We would suggest checking that your phone is Bluetooth compatible with your headphones. The manual here says the headphones support A2DP connection: SBC and AAC. Let us know how you get on.
Best wishes,
Ed
Thanks.
The transmitter leaflet says it supports A2DP and AVRCP
