Cannot Sync Playlists to Walkman

I have an NW E394 Walkman and have tried to sync my playlists from Windows Media Player to it.  The music transfers and appears on the Walkman and the songs can be selected via artist, album, song but not as playlist which I need.

Any ideas how to get the playlists to transfer from WM player and stay as playlists on the Walkman??
