Creating a playlist on the nw a45 without a pc

Hi, 

I'm trying to create playlists on my NW-A45 mp3 player.

I have a playlist file but it's in the Artist section. All my music is on a 64gb sd card.

Do I need 3rd party software, as I've tried to add tracks and it just says please compliant software or device and transfer playlist?

What does that message mean?

Hi Phil,

I would recommend downloading 'Music Center for PC' here to create playlists and transfer them to your Walkman.

I've installed Sony Music Center and made the lists from scratch on my laptop.

The Playlists now show up in the playlist section on the player.
