How to force MusicCenter app to forget obsolete media server

Some time ago I replaced a DLNA media server on my wifi network with another one. The old one was running on a Mac and the new one runs on a Windows 10 PC. The old server is still listed in the Music Center app under Home Network. Is there a way to remove it? In other words how can I force Music Center to forget the old server?

Found the solution myself: remove the Music Center app and reinstall. After this the app will not remember any old servers.

Hi there,

Have you tried a factory reset?

Best wishes,

A factory reset of the SRS-X88 speaker that I control with Music Center has no effect. Not surprising since I believe the problem lies with the iOS app, because the Android version of Music Center that I just installed on a spare phone correctly only "sees" the server that is currently active, not the one that was removed from the network ages ago.
