Major issue with MEX N6001bd Car Stereo

My new stereo was working fine, now it is dead.  It does not power up or anything. The fuse and wires are all ok.  You cannot hear the unit booting up when you turn on the ignition, so I'm thinking it's an internal problem with the unit.  Are there fuses actually inside the unit which only a technician can check.  Also how do I stand with regards to warranty ect.  Only had it a couple of weeks.  There were no papers or anything with stereo when I unpacked it.  Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi there

If the player is only a few weeks old, then your first port of contact is the retailer you purchased it from.

Cheers

Sorry mate, just thought I'd get more response.  Not used to these forum things.  Yes I'll take it back to retailers, as it more likely a fault with the stereo itself.  Cheers for help mate.

You're Welcome

Good luck with everything anyhow - but yes, it does appear to be a hardware fault.

Problem solved.    Yes it was just simply a faulty unit.  I took it back to retailers, they tried to power it up, but was completely dead.  They gave me another new stereo straight away.no problem.  The assistant told me that a number of these ,MEX stereos have recently been bought back with other problems with radio, blue tooth & syncing issues.

Anyway mine is working ok now and fingers crossed I hope it stays that way.  Cheers for help again mate.     Enjoy your music guys.    smileywink::smileypeace:  10991276_10205114749202840_7438940351107865034_n.jpg
