MDR-10RBT showing as Disconnected in the Audio "Recording" settings - Windows 7

Hi,

I can listen with these earphones - "Playback" settings in the Audio controls are working fine.

However in the "Recording" tab, the Bluetooth Microphone shows as "Disconnected". When I click on "Connect" nothing happens.

OS is Windows 7.

Can anyone advise on how I can get the mic working?

I want to be able to use for Skype calls for instance.

Hi there

As far as im aware, the microphone is not for recording, its their to connect to mobile phones.  It uses HFP (Hands Free Profile) part of bluetooth, whereas your computer probably does not support this.
