Poor user experience with WH-1000XM3 device switching

Hi,

Anyone else wondering why Sony’s ultimate headset WH-10003 does not have easier device switching?

It seems that the headphones actually can not re-connect to a paired device but you will always have to use connected      audio input device, like PC, TV or iPhone to disconnect the headphones. After that you can connect to headphones from another audio input device. This may look like a small issue but after using the device one week in work, I can say that I am already concidering other brands!

I have compared the product with competitors that support switching between the audio input devices with a single button press.

Sony, please take this to your product development! I would be extremely satisfied in case this feature is improved in future software releases!

I understand that it’s a designed feature,  and my post was an improvement idea for Sony. Maybe it’s something that could be improved with a firmware update in next releases. Or maybe it’s a patent protected feature that Sony cannot utilize.

Still, as of today I miss this device fast switch feature in Sony headphones. Otherwise I they are great!

Is Sony crew even reading these forums? Haven’t seen them commenting anything. Thanks!
