Sony Connect app on iphone no longer works with WH-1000XM2

The app installed and connected to the headphones, it then downloaded and successfully installed a firmware update.

Now the headphones work but the app loads with a blank screen and disappears, it is still running but cannot be displayed or adjusted.

I have deleted and reinstalled the app, un-paired and re-paired the headphones but it has not fixed the problem.

I have now reverted to the latest non-beta ios and the app is working.

Have you tried power cycling your iphone?

 

Try uninstalling the headphones connect app, then do a power cycle and power off your iPhone. Leave powered off for a couple of minutes, power on, reinstall the app and try again.

Thanks but i tried that without success.

I think the problem is that i am running an IOS beta version on an iphone 8+.

I have tried installing on an old iphone5 with old operating system and that works fine.
