I was transferring files from my library onto my MP3 player ( which is only a couple of weeks old) when it suddenly became blocked on the screen saying 'Connected USB (MTP) The player cannot be operated'. I unplugged the USB cable and is says the same message and all the function buttons won't work! Has anyone any ideas how to unblock the Mp3 player?

I bought mine yesterday and am having the same issue. When I plug it into the computer, Hitachi or Denon hifi mp3 docking ports, the Walkman displays the same message 'Connected USB. The player cannot be operated'. I haven't put any music on it yet, it won't let me. I did expect to be able to play the default, installed albums but the thing won't let me. Good luck. It feels like a nice piece of kit but I'll be returning it if I can't use it.
