Sony Walkman NWA45, Micro SD cards and stuff.

Hi all, I'm going to buy a Sony Walkman NWA45 as my NWZ-E585 has stopped working properly since it got wet, (Out walking in heavy rain). I'm thinking about buying a Sandisk 64GB micro SD card, class 10, A1, U3, V30. I've been reading a few reports of people having problems with Sandisk. I've already imported, (To my laptop) my CDs using the Sony Music Centre for PC. Everything worked fine, it's all sitting there with it's cover art. The reports I've been reading have been about using "Drag & Drop" to transfer files & cover art to the SD card and then the Walkman losing / deleting some of them. I'm wondering if this still happens if the Music Centre for PC is used to transfer the audio & cover art files to the SD card.

Hi, I'm not familiar with this myself, but you can find some articles about the Media Centre here and you could always send a message to tech support here for advice.

Been there, done that, no joy. I think it's to do with transfer protocol, MTP and MSC. Here's a snippet from the following link, (MTP allows the transfer of all information related to the media file like album art and other metadata. It also allows the user to password protect the entire drive to restrict access. All these features are lacking from MSC. http://www.differencebetween.net/technology/difference-between-mtp-and-msc/

it will be the same, to be transfered and displayed, cover art need to be embed within the file itself.
