Sony Walkmans WM-EX808HG and WM-EX1HG Question

Guys,

I've just replaced the belt drives in my two beloved classic 1993 and 1994 units.

However the remote controls RM-77E and RM-WM78E don't hold the greatest connection sound wise.

If I use other headphones connected directly to the units using the supplied adaptor then the sound is great.

Does anyone have either remote control unit for sale or would know where other than Ebay I could look?
