Sony WF-1000xm3 earbuds not turning on

Hi,

Purchased WF-1000xm3 earbuds recently and was working beautifully for a few weeks, now the left earbud does not turn on. It's been charged and I've tried resetting and initializing to no avail. 

More details: When charging, the right ear bud, which works fine, shows a solid red indicator light. The left ear bud, the red indicator light flickers a bit. After charging and taking out of the case, the blue indicator light comes on for the right but not for the left earbud. I can no longer pair my earphones via bluetooth/NFC.

Has anyone experienced this and have a solution?

just for clarification - did you perform all the troubleshooting steps listed here in the helpguide?

@IamNic  yes did all of that and it still has not resolved the issue.

if that is the case either 

A: Get in contact with the service

B: Return them as defective and get a replacement unit
