subwoofer Sony HT-ZF9, i have come to turn tv on and subwoofer just wont connect. Ok yesterday.

Hi all, i have come to turn on my tv tonight to find that the subwoofer is not connected to the soundbar. i have gone through the inst book and tried the mannual connect but to no avail. Even had it unplugged for 10 minutes, all was ok when i turned off last night but it just refuses to connect to the soundbar. Anyone got any ideas, i'm hoping it will be a simple thing i have overlooked.

It sounds like the The Sound Bar and TV are not linked. You can see more details on how to resolve this here.

Hi Sean Mc, it seems ok at the moment, i carried out a reset to factory settings and that seemed to do the trick. though it has been sounding tinny as if the subwoofer was disconnected again but only "on and off". Anyway, comes to turn on again today and blow me it had dissconnected again, so did another reset and up to now all is fine with no breaks in subwoofer sound.

.I did ask the question to sony and they suggested a reset and if that didn't fix it the subwoofer was faulty.
