Trouble physically removing SD card from NW-A45 Walkman

Hi all,

I just bought an NW-A45 Walkman today. I inserted an SD card almost immediately after setting it up, according to the instructions given (just popped it in). When trying to take it out, I obviously press down on the card to make it pop out but it doesn't come out completely no matter how hard I try to pull out the card using my nail. Haven't damaged anything thankfully but it definitely shouldn't be this hard to remove an SD card...

I should add that I cut my nails recently so that might be a factor, but this is ridiculous. Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to the community. 

Sounds frustrating! I'll just see what I can find out, but in the meantime, maybe someone else in the community might have some ideas.

I've checked the Manual and yes, it says that you should only push the card into the microSD card slot. If it still doesn't pop out, I'd say that you can arrange to get it inspected by Sony:
