WF-1000XM3 with alexa

So I have my WF 1000 XM3s and am pleased with how they work/sound etc but....

I can't seem to get Alexa on my phone working with them, the Sony headphone app only offers Google assistant, when I use the Alexa app, add device 'headphone' the app doesn't seem to pick the WFs up.

Am I alone with this? Can't take using Google assistant and this is annoying

I have thank you, but for some reason these headphones seem to only want Google assistant - the Sony app for headphones only offers Google assistant, I don't see why they couldn't make this easy and offer the various assistants like android does without needing to play games with 3rd party apps.

I just checked the help-guide and there only Siri and Google Assistant are mentioned.

Looks like Alexa isn't yet supported from what I can tell. 🤔

Disappointingly this would seem to be the case - hopefully Sony can fix this and get basic functions introduced in these headphones.
