WH-1000X M3 Calls Problem (All noise is heard)

Hi,

When I try to make calls in a noisy enviroment (Mainly people talking around), I feel like the ANC is truned off and all the noise around me is clearly heard, plus the person that I speak to on the other end, can hear everything around me and maybe better than my voice.

I tried to adjust the setting in the Ambient sound section but it didnt really make any diffrence.

Note: I have updated the software version before even using it, once I downloaded the app and paired it with my device I updated it.

Please advise.

dude the update is the problem before update the ANC worked fine after it the headphones started to suck

Hi shady.selim,

I think what you're describing here is normal. Usually, the microphone on the headset is used to gather nearby sounds and block them accordingly, but when you are on a phone call, the microphone is already occupied over the call, hence it's not possible unable to do its main function which is to block outside noise.

So what you're saying is that I can't use noise cancelling while on a call because all the noise around me will be heard through the speaker cuz the mic is on.

I never faced this before I think this is just throwing noise cancelling feature away which makes the headphone useless for calls.
