WH-CH710N can't change volume

Hi I cannot use the volume button on my headphones to change the volume, all I hear is a loud double beep then the music keeps playing as it was before. Any ideas?

The headphones' specs confirm they support AVRCP, which is the profile responsible for controls over Bluetooth, so might be the device you have connected to them doesn't support it, is in some way not compatible, or just glitching.

Try using a different device (phone, laptop, etc) and see how that goes.
