WH1000XM3 Headphones using whilst charging

Hi,

Sorry if these questions have been asked before, but I'm new to the forum.

Can you use the headphones whilst they are charging?

Can you use them via USB on a PC without bluetooth?

Thanks,

Hello @Wor_Geordie,

while not intended to be used while charging (you can't power them on and therefore you have no NC nor other "active" features), you can actually use them with the 3.5mm audio cable as "passive" headphones.

@Wor_Geordie Sorry if these questions have been asked before, but I'm new to the forum

There's a box in the top right corner marked 'search'. It exists to prevent people asking questions that have been answered more times than we've had Brexit extensions (which must be running into the billions by now…). Pity nobody ever bothers to use it.

But I'm feeling benevolent tonight (knows why…) and the answers to your questions are 'no' and, well, 'no'. This is the same with all headphones of this type, not just the M1000XM3. The USB port is for charging only, does your computer not have a headphone jack…?

Please also note that noise cancellation is disabled when connected with a cable.
