Where do I find a driver for WH- 1000XM3 for windows 7 ?

I've just got a pair of these amazing headphones.   I got them going with my Iphone in about a minute, but  have now spent more than 2 hours trying to get my HP Elitebook WIN 7 laptop to work with them - it can't find the driver for the 'headset' bit ( the driver for the remote seems to work immediately) . 

I cannot find any clear link on the Sony site to the specific driver - does anyone know where to look, or have any other ideas?

Hello @pwhobbs,

the headset doesn't use specific drivers to run on a notebook - it uses a standard bluetooth protocol and should work as an audio device upon connecting.

May I ask what you mean by

which "remote"? Do you mean the touch controls?

And do you mean the audio by "headset-bit"?

If so do I understand that correct that you don't have audio but that you can control the playback?
