Sony MRD ZX330BT headphones connected to my Samsung J3 phone with NFC and worked fine. However, I can't get the headphones to connect with any of my other bluetooth audio equipment, including a couple of tablets, a Brennan B2 hi-fi unit, a Dell desktop and a Dell laptop, all of which run Bluetooth 4. All of these devices connect up to other Bluetooth units. Is it possible that while the NFC connection works, the standard Bluetooth connection procedure wouldn't?
The unit is now out of guarantee, I left it too long, so I can't take it back. Any suggestions? Thanks.
Hi there,
Have you tried contacting Sony support?
If not you can do here.
Let us know how you get on.
Best wishes,

Yes, but the phone number wouldn't answer when I called, probably out of hours, so I went on to the 'community', which I thought was something I should have done to start with.
I did eventually find a solution, and it was buried in the original manual - try resetting the headphones from the start, by pressing a chord of two buttons for several seconds. In the end that did work, clearing wanted settings. HOWEVER, the solution was very hard to find, because the manual is near-unreadable, the text too small, and buried in dozens of languages! How much longer must we put up with these unreadable manuals in tiny fonts made for teenagers with sharp eyes, in dozens of languages, none of which, as luck will have it, is the language we actually speak!!!
