Has anyone looked at which case if any, they would get for the S?
Looks like Sony is only doing the one, black leather (not really my colour ). I've had a quick look around and found quite a few different makes, any thoughts?
This site has quite a few:

Solved! Go to Solution.
Job accomplished. Elongated the hole in the flap by 15mm to the right (viewed from the front and above) and the remote is working whilst in the case.
Thanks to Blencogo and Thalamus for details of the Sony case.
Rich
Hi, wondering if anyone has come across a case similair to this:
http://store.apple.com/us/product/IPAD_SMART_COVER-107759
IE something that covers the front but exposes the back - I want to leave the design alone.
Thanks
Jake
Expansys have a few in stock. If you don't mind brown.

Ahhh.
I think the following explains why the Sony covers have been so hard to come by.

Dear Customer,
Thank you for your continued interest in Sony products.
Sony has identified the possibility that a shadow from the Carrying Cover could be shown on the four corners of the picture taken by the rear-facing camera. This is due to the inappropriate form and size of the aperture for the camera in the Carrying Cover for the Sony Tablet S Series, launched in September 2011.
Therefore, we will exchange the affected products for the improved products for free and ask you to contact us via the below link. We plan to deliver the improved products as of the end of October.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

I am really looking for a nice bright silicon case. I dont want one of these thick lether ones, I have a screen protector and dont want anything on the screen. a silicon case will keep the form add grip and protection and their cheap.
if any body finds any lemme know.
Looks like the STM Skinny case is on it's way to the UK. This case is available in US in black & red and is also on Sony US official site.

Hi
Can anyone from Sony help?
I purchased the SGPCV1 from John Lewis.
After I read Andyrlea's posting, I clicked on the weblink to the notice and than clicked on the support link but can not make further progress. I am asked for the serial number of my tablet even though it's the case I am looking to replace not the tablet? There doesn't appear to be any further information on what is needed to exchange the design fault of the SGPCV1 case. So I am at a standstill???
Neither John Lewis or Johnlewis.com are showing cases even though the notice from Sony states that replacement covers will be available from end of October??? Could omar_g@ap64 (Sony representative),explain what is needed in order to obtain the free replacement, without design fault?
Thanks in advance

Thanks Rich but the telephone number given generates an incorrect number message, even if an 0 is inserted at the beginning.
Interestingly, after I sent Sony a message regarding the recall notice link, the link to Sony's case recall notice given in AndyRLee's posting, now just sends you to Sony's trouble shooting page and not the recall notice?
If Omar could advise who/what the contact arrangement for this Sony recall is, that would be appreciated.
Thanks Rich, your link to the notice works!
If this is a general recall for a product that is faulty by design? Than why oh why do i have to pay for the privilege? Why didn't Sony provide a dedicated free 0800 number rather than a premium 0844 number? It's their design fault not mine.
Why do I have to search on their support pages afyer reading their notice to recall this product?
There should be a dedicated link for those that have purchased a defective design case that makes the swap user friendly and completely free. It is their recall after all...........
Omar?
