Bravia kdl32ex600 does not react to rc: programsetting is gone

Our tv reacts strange: when using the rc the light on the tv flickrs, but there is no reaction or a late reaction (for example when using the volumebutton or changing senders).

Lately the tv does not respond at all. The only solution is putting it off and on. Then the programsetting is gone and needs to be installed every time.

What can it be? Anybody familiar with this problem?
