Contact picture not appearing in text pane

Hi,  my contact picture does not show when I reply to a text.  My contact picture does show in 'contacts'  Is this normal?My contact picture should show

Hello did you manually save your own contact details on the contacts app? In order for the photo to appear you should edit the My Info tab on the contacts app. Just swipe from the left to show the My Info

Thank you for replying,  I have the my info pane but I am not sure what to edit - top of the pain 'my info' to the left does not show my photo - how do i get my photo there.
