Hi @victorjohna,

Do you use the native Windows explorer in order to navigate the video file?

To do so, connect your device to your computer through USB > Press the Windows button + E on your keyboard > Choose your device > Navigate to the video file > From here, handle the file as you would any other file on your computer. Alternatively, you could open the file browser in Xperia Companion.

Is this where the error occurs, and if so do you get any error message? What does it read?

Have you changed the USB options upon plugging in to the PC, it'll be on charging only needs to be on mtp file transfer

Yes. I checked it. The photos I am able to copy and paste. But the videos do not allow to be copied. Earlier in Sony pc companion, these video files would not allow to be picked. But after we tranfer them to our library we can do whatever was needed.

So you tried using the windows file explorer as I instructed? Do you get any type of error message or what happens when you try to copy it locally to your computer?

No message comes. When I try to  copy and then try to paste it in the computer, nothing happens. Earlier when I was using Xperia Z1. when I tried to play it in PC, i would get the message " this video is too large to be played. try to copy it to your library and play". But now I am unable to copy it. And get no message

Same here, only photos can be moved either manually or via mediaGo but I cannot move video files to system.

I do a manual work by removing sd card and the same is inserted in computer and then i copy, such a waste fo time.

Not user friendly

That sounds very strange, I am sorry to hear that. Slightly_frowning_Face I tried replicating the behaviour just now, but it transfers just fine during my tests. Could you give me some more information about the video types? Is it video files which you have recorded yourself, or does it only occur to downloaded/transferred videos? In addition, just for reference, what computer system are you running (For example Windows 10)?

I can't view videos when Xperia Z connected to PC , I wang to transfer all videos to PC as they are using most of the space of my Mobile. They are all self recorded through phone and the format is mp4.

The path says storage /emulated/0/Dcim

But can't find anything as Emulated in PC

Please guide.

When you connect your phone to PC are you changing the connection option from Charging only to MTP? When you browse your phone from the PC just check Internal storage (or phone) / DCIM.
