Purchased this phone a few months ago and it has exceeded expectations. For the past 6 weeks or so, there is a random "squelch" noise that occurs. It lasts half a second and randomly occurs. It may occur once or twice a day, if it occurs at all. When i am using Bluetooth headphones, the noise is transmitted to the Bluetooth device. The NFC is turned off. I was recently in the US for 2 weeks and it did not occur when I was overseas.
