I'm sorry you're having issues with your WiFi. Can you please try forgetting and reconnecting to the network? To do this, go to Settings > WiFi > Tap and hold on your WiFi connection, then choose "Forget network". Once you have done that, try to reconnect and see if there's any change.
Do you know if the issue happens with any other WiFi connections?
Ideally, if we could test it on another WiFi connection it would be best so we can confirm if the issue is with the phone or the WiFi network.
I understand that it is a university connection so you will be unable to adjust the settings for it, but there could still be a compatibility issue with your phone and the router.
