Better Equalizer Settings for W995 and other Walkman Phones

Here are the 3 equalizer settings for your W995 or other Walkman Family Phones. They all sounds better than default preset equalizers of W995.

First One

full optimal clear bass +3 bars

400Hz = +1 bar
1kHz = +1 bar
2.5kHz = 0 bar
6.3kHz = +3 bars
16kHz = + 3 bars

Second One

full optimal clear bass +3 bars

400Hz = 0 bar
1kHz = +1 bar
2.5kHz = +2 bars
6.3kHz = +1 bar
16kHz = +3 bars

Third One

full optimal clear bass +3 bars
400Hz = -3 bars
1kHz = -2 bars
2.5kHz = 0 bar
6.3kHz = +2 bars
16kHz = +3 bars

Try these settings out and let me know how it goes.

Thanks,

I've got the W995, but I don't think that any of the presets are better or worse than the manual settings, as it's a case of what genre of music you're listening to.You can achieve higher volumes however with manual settings than you can with the presets, although volume isn't everything.

You should try out these settings dude. You'll see the difference and fun. I can't stand default settings anymore, after I used these custom configurations. More louder and deep sounds I get. Actually, I usually listen Rock, Heavy and Soft Rock music. It really works for me.

Thanks for your comment.

My previous comment implies that I've already tried these settings,but it boils downs to a combination of personal taste and the type of music you're listening to at the time.

That's right. I just wanted to share the things I like with the other users. I'm happy with these settings actually but, as you mentioned, it depends the music style that you like.
