Bluetooth problems after 2.1 Update

Ever since i updated my X10i software to ver 2.1 I cannot connect to my Parrot CK3000 Bluetooth Car Kit. It worked fine prior to the update, but now, it recognize the device, and pair, but doesn't properly connect. No matter what I try. I know it's not the CK3000, as my BlackBerry 9700 works perfectly, I also reset the CK3000 and repaired only my X10i, but experienced the same issue. Any Idea how I can get this issue resolved or, perhaps downgrade to 1.6 again, as that worked perfectly for me...

Regards

Hi

I also own a Parrot CK3000 Evolution and since I upgraded my X10i to 2.1, it will no longer connect to the Parrot. It pairs successfully, but never actually connects.

When my X10i was running 1.6, it worked perfectly with the Parrot. I hope SE can resolve this.

Well this is odd. I first of all reset the Parrot and tried connecting, but it was the same as before. It would pair, but not connect. I managed to connect to the Parrot by pressing the make call (green button) on the Parrot. I heard the usual beep, and the X10 showed that it was connected to the Parrot. I could then manually make a call successfully.

In my excitement I then tried sending my contacts to the Parrot, but it failed :smileysad:. This was using the default method of choosing the contact on the X10 and then sending the contact to the Parrot as a business card. This worked with 1.6, but no longer with 2.1.

My solution to this problem of sending contacts was to download Bluetooth File Transfer from Android Market. To send a contact, put the Parrot into send voice tags mode. Then start bluetooth file transfer, press the left button on the X10, press more and then select send contacts, select the contact you want to send. My fist contact took sometime to send, but it worked. The rest of the contacts I sent were uploaded as quick as it used to take when the phone was working on 1.6.

My Parrot is working just as it used too:smileyhappy:. As a last test, I switched the Parrot off, then switched it on. This time it automatically connected to my X10, and didn't require me to press the make call button on the Parrot.

I hope this might be of some help to those of you with bluetooth problems since upgrading to 2.1.
