Charging Problem/Red Notification Lights

I've no idea why this is happening right now but my phone won't charge.
When I plug it in the red notification light blinks for a while, then the charghing logo appears on the screen for a short time and during that time red is light constantly lid, as it was suppossed to, however then the screen goes black again and the light starts blinking.

I found a solution on YouTube which suggested me to tape power button firmly so it's always pushed and then charge it for an hour. I did exactly the same thing, nothing changed.

It's been more than 2 hours and my phone is still charging with the same cycle (blinking red light, then charhing logo, then blinking again).

I wonder what happened to my phone and what can I do now?

Thanks in advance!

EDIT: I realised that with using charging dock I can see a glimpse of Xperia and Sony logo but then they vanish. The phone seems to be restarting itself while I use the dock.

Did you try other chargers and/or USB cables?

Have you exposed your phone to water?

I've tried 4 different cables, two of them original Sony, one LG and one Samsung. No change.

Well, yes.. I exposed but then I used it for hours without any problem. I only exposed it to water for less than a minute, and it was working fine after that..Is this the reason behind it?

I would think so, contact your local Xperia Care and request a vacuum test

If you used it for hours i dont think so. Water has a fast reaction when the main board gets in touch with it and all connectors. You would see a problem straight after few minutes...  But is there any steam / condensation on the camers lens / flash light? Are the water indicators white or red? The indicator is placed right OVER your sim,  if you look at the correct angle of your phone you should see a white/red plastic sticker.

Btw it isnt the pull out thing under the sd.

I was thinking the same, I mean water should affect immedietaly. I saw some steam/condensation on the camera lens but it's been a while I don't see anymore. The water indicator under the sim slot is white. Whereas I just checked the one under the micro USB slot is red. So it seems it's a water damage.
