Report Inappropriate Content

i have purchaced new sony ericson X10 recently. Can some one suggest me how to remove time space from my desktop. Its covering my photo in desktop. Also tell me me how to disconnect/silent the phone when i get a call.

When on homescreen (desktop) click on the foursquare button (the button with 4square symbol) Now you will be presented with a pop up having three options Change wallpaper, Arrange widgets and Arrange icons. Click the arrange widget icon and scroll to the time scape widget and click on the red cross found on top right.

If you are mentioning deletion of the icon from other application icons then understand that it is not possible. No default application on Xperia can be deleted.

How come there is no way to delete (or hide) applications that I don't want to use/have?

Hi Thanks for the reply, However i could able to see only Add, Wallpaper, Search notifications andsetting not finding arrange widget icon. Please suggest me.

I'm not sure, but I suspect that the advice given by Er.Kannan holds true for the X10 mini.

For the big X10, to remove items from the home screen, simply press and hold (long press) the icon till the dustbin appears at the bottom of the screen. Keeping your finger on the icon, drag it to the bottom of the screen in to the dustbin, and it will be removed from the screen. Similarly, if you just wish to move it elsewhere on the screen, drag it to an empty space on the screen (including any of the three parts to the home screen). If you do remove something by dragging it to the dustbin, you are only deleting the shortcut., not the application itself, so play around - you can't do too much harm!

If you wish to add icons to the home screen, go the the list of applications, do a long press on the icon you wish to use, and it will appear on the home screen. You can then move it to where you want it within the home screen, as described above.
