I can't update Android 2.1 for my Xperia X10i in Malaysia !!!! Please Help !!!!

I'm kinda stuck at the preparation of updates in step 5. It states there 'Press and hold the Back key while connecting the cable into the phone'. It shows nothing when I perform this action. Any solution please ?

Have you tried using the Sony Ericsson Update Service rather than PC Companion...

If you have tried both packages then switching PC sometimes helps.
