Lens came out. Waterproof??

After removing a screen protector on the back case, which using glass didn't require a hole for the glass, as it was 100% transparent and worked fine.  The lens came out.  Now before I get the standard "contact Local Xperia Care". I did, and I was not provided any helpful information other than "it will need to be sent in for inspection and repair".  Now since it came off, I put it back on. Just wondering if this has compromised it's waterproofing (probably has, and not willing to try) in anyone elses experience, or of any knowledgable Sony staff, as I'd assume this seemingly weak seal isnt the only thing between it and the components.   Or what the costs of replacing it properly is.  Again this is information Xperia Care seem relunctant to provide, which I deem disrespectful and I just don't have any trust/faith in Sony to not play the blame game...

The phone otherwise works, and the camera is fine, I can't remove it again either, seems firmly down.

No one here will be able to say if it's waterproof as a pressure test and or vacuum test will need to be carried out so what you didn't want to here is you need to either return your device to the place of purchase or contact Xperia care http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/support/contact-us/

Thanks for the replies, may wait until anyone has any idea of how much this is going to cost. I'm perfectly able to keep it out of the water (I haven't put it in water since 'playing' with it at purchase).  Last time I sent a product to be repaired by Sony, they broke it more (Vaio Laptop), and I had to wait a month for a replacement. So I hope you can see I'm not willing to 'chance it', there must be a pricing for replacement of the lens / back cover, and I'd rather not waste £22 and '7 days' on finding out..

You are not going to find that info here at the forum, you have to contact your local Xperia Care (link above) and ask them directly.
