Every time I try to transfer music to my phone it starts synchronising then freezes and only a few songs will be transferred. I have tried deleting all the music on my phone and I have done a factory reset on the phone too however it still won't work. Also I have tried using other laptops and computers but the music still won't synchronise I never had a problem before so was wondering if I might have a bug or something similar Any help would be much appreciated as this is getting frustrating.

How are you transferring the music?

On Windows media player or just by dragging and dropping straight from the files never had a problem before. now it won't synchronise any music at all and I've tried deleting the music apps and re-installing them

Do you sync the music the your phone's internal storage or do you have a memory card that you sync to?

I have tried both I had a sd card but removed it thinking it might be because the sd card was corrupt however it doesn't sync to my phone internal memory either even though I have 8gb free memory.

Also photos and videos will still sync perfectly fine literally just music that won't.

Are these normal .mp3-files or do you use another format for your music?

They are normal mp3 files.

Try clearing data for the Media Storage app, Settings > Apps > All > Media Storage > Clear data, and restart your device. Then try to transfer som music files to your phone again.
