Within the past 24 hours and a battery openly dying on my phone to be instantly on charge after, all was well before i turned it back on, which now feels like utter. My issues consist of;
- A severely slowed down processor and load speed when browsing through the phone, even turning it on and trying to put my code in seems like an age.
- Constant app crashes (including the system app and processor system)
- Factory reset button WILL NOT, i repeat, WILL NOT follow through on the system, safe mode or not.
-attempts to reinstall an app (whatsapp, if i had to mention) fail amazingly when trying to download.
-when accessing an app, the system bars (home button bar found at the bottom of the screen and system info found at top) will grey out when the system is frozen.
all this because i turned my phone off -.-
I'm running on android version 4.3, have attempted to free up space by deleting whatever fun apps i had beforehand, but to limited avail.
If my guess is also correct, this current computer wont even connect to the phone, but i reckon its down to missing hardware. Help would be much appreciated before this thing goes flying out the window.
Hi,
That sounds very strange. Could you try to remove the back cover > Here you can find an OFF button which you can press and hold down using the tip of a pen > The phone will power off. Try to power on the phone again to see if same behaviour persist.
I am also facing the same problem... I hate sony so much....
Funny you should say that, i've pressed the reset/off button multiple times, even held it for a few seconds to get the vibrations signalling its turned off fully, but yes, the problems still persist. i've deleted most of the apps that are large files and RAM heavy, but no change.
Okay, I suggest that you guys try to perform a software repair using PC Companion via either PC Comapnion or Bridge for Mac to see if this can help.
Short lived suggestion, im afraid 😕 MTP USB is attempting to install a driver update but is having no luck whatsoever, so PCC isn't picking my phone up.
If I understand you correctly, PC Companion will not proceed in step 10? If that's the case, I suggest that you visit nearest service center to have your phone examined by a technician. You can contact your Local support for information about nearest service center and/or how to proceed with this in the best possible way.
