my x10 froze this morning, i used the on/on and centre button and it worked, now, it froze and the buttons aren't working. HELP?

HELP!!! my previous post shows that it froze and blacked out this morning, then i fixed that, and now, it froze again. the button with the on/on and the middle button reset is not working this time, though i did back out my photo album and stuff like that. WHAT SHOUDL I DO NOW?

Hold the power button for a few seconds. it should power down the phone.

Then hold it for a short while you should feel a small virbrate and it will boot up again.

i did feel the boot up thing, then it just vibrated, and now it's still blank. should i send it for repair? do i need to include my phone card/memory card during the repair?

Hmmmm .... must be the cold weather. Anyway, don't press that panic button YET.

I guess you are referring to your X10 Mini, hopefully it is just some software issues (can be fixed) and not hardware issues.

I have the feeling that there might be too much background activities to cause your phone to freeze (the 600 MHz processor probably can't handle that), have you been feeding your X10 Mini with plenty of 'junks' from the Market lately (possible cause of background activities)?

Try this, if you are able to find an opportunity to have your phone working as normal again, un-install those recently installed apps.

Worst case scenario is to do a Repair on your X10 Mini using SE Update Service.

hahahaha, cold weather? I live on the equator , it's summer all year round XD

Has been raining heavily lately, therefore the lower temperature. Anyway, have you de-frozed your mini ????

true it's been raining like hell, but no, it's not cold/frozen or anywhere near anything cold

the problem persists XD it just turns on, then just goes off again, a continuous cycle of hanging/freezing/ blacking out/ on-ing again ....it's literally killing me XD

Then kill it before it kills you.  Joke aside, maybe you might want to seriously think about what I have mentioned earlier. If not, a Repair (SEUS) will be necessary. Think about it. The phone is in your hand !!!!

i'm actually gonna get my dad to sorta maybe fix the problem whne he comes back, btw, i'm not actually holding the phone now you have a queer sense of humour, that you do :smileygrin:
