Hi,
Just new to the Xperia lineup of phones...and have the Z5 Premium E6853
Observations:
1. Top speaker is a bit louder than bottom speaker
2. Battery drains quick from 100% to 90% but then slows down from 89% to 1%
Questions:
1. Is there a way to set the phone on vibrate mode without using the volume keys?
2. Is there a way to set Netflix and Youtube to play at 4k?
3. If I use Quick Charger 3.0 will it cause damage on the battery since it only supports 2.0?
I really like this phone and i want to maximize the best possible use for it!
Part 1:
1. That's how it works with the top speaker, might need some calibration:

2. The phone is relatively new, it will take some time to adapt to your usage pattern, battery backup should improve.
Part 2:
1. Yes, you can do it from sound and notification settings, but it takes longer. A simpler way is to press volume once then tap on the bell icon (it should switch to vibration).
2. Read more about it here:
3. The phone will only let current according to QC2.0 feature, so no harm there.
Hi @J0J0,
I see that you've already received a reply to most of your questions
If there is a way to set a specific streaming service to play at 4K is up to the developer/provider of the service. However, since most streaming services currently are not fully optimised for mobile the phone will upscale content to 4K for popular streaming services such as Netflix and YouTube.
Regarding your third question, the phone supports Quick Charge 2.0 and as far as I know Qualcomm Quick Chargers are downwards compatible. So using a charger that supports Quick Charge 3.0 will work but you will not notice it charging faster than if you were using one that supports Quick Charge 2.0.
1. Ignore Sony's representative answer. Very common hardware problem affecting MAJORITY of Xperia's Z5. I went through FIVE replacement Z5's and three of them had unbalanced speakers. One of the reasons I replaced phone number 4 was exactly that the top speaker was much louder than the bottom one. The fifth phone I got has perfectly balanced speakers.
My advice is to send for repair or ask for replacement if you ordered from Amazon.
