Root Fail

I recently tried to root my x10 and failed miserably and now my phone is a very expensive paper weight. Is there anyway to restore is to default or another way to root it to save myself from having to buy a new phone.

Mm sad news. I think you should post your problem on XDA Developers forum. Have you tried repairing with PC Companion or SEUS? Well Xperia can be rooted easily by using Z4root by RyanZA. Application is available on android market. Beware, there is a duplicate application named similar. Don’t use it. Use Z4root by RyanZA.

Note: Rooting may invalidate your warranty.

I have come across the Z4 Root by Ryan. It's really amazing. I am able to install lots of root application now.

By the way, installing this Z4 Root, will it stop getting update from SE in terms of new patches, etc? Will a clean format bring back to factory default if Rooting is problem?

Repair by SEUS and PC Companion brings the phone back in factory condition. This is possible only if you have not modified any root files on the phone. Please be careful while using a rooted phone. Do not accidentally delete any important files.
