Setup ringtone in Xperia s 4.0.4

How to setup the mp3 as ringtone in the Xperia S?

I believe it should be under setting -> sound -> ringtone but I was told there is no option to choose a MP3 as ringtone.

I go into music long press on the song I want - options appear then select set as ringtone at the bottom

Settings-sound-ringtone's then press the musicnote icon on the right top corner.

hi there i dont seem to have the music note available have i done something will a reinstall work ?? cant just make do with these normal tones this sucks

Press walkman find song in "my music" find song click on songs to find list on album  then touch screen on the song a list will come up set ringtone  🙂
