short ringtone

why sony ericsson only play short ringtone even if the song is more than 2 min..

it only play about 10 second of it...can it be change??

What phone do you have? Is the music looping or just stopping? Is it happening with ALL files? Is your voicemail or call forwarding picking up?

i'm using W508...

its not looping..it just stop..

from what i've seen..i think most sony ericsson model like that like friend also have the same problem....every time when people call me @ message me..the ringtone ring short only..for other brand like nokia it will ring until we stop it or the music finish..

So i just wonder if sony originaly like that it just my handphone damaged...

I know that there is a limitation to how long the ringtone for calls and messages are but I'm not sure how long that limit is.

But it's how the phone works.

I have the same question...  Anyone knows if there's a way to make it last longer? I know this is the way the phone works... but maybe someone knows how to hange it 😃
