When I plug in my T715 (purchased in May), it won't recharge anymore. At first, it will act as if I have just unplugged the charger, then say 'charging' once I've unplugged it! I managed to get it plugged in and say 'charging' last night but the display still reads as a low battery signal. I know people have had problems with the way the charger plugs in, but i've been super careful to always remove it as described in the manual!
What should I do? I'm on vacation in PEI and there is no FIDO store here. I desperately need my phone though.
Thanks.
The only thing I think it would be is the fastport which is a hardware related problem and would need to be seen by someone in a repair centre.
same thing happened to me. this phone is defective and sony ericsson needs to do something about it. i sent mine in for repair and it works now, but clearly with all the people experiencing the same issue, there is something wrong. i remove it as the manual describes as well and have had no issues for 5 months now. heres hoping it stays that way.
Thankfully it's not so bad as all that. I removed the battery again, the sim card too, and put everything back. It works fine...for now! Then I was off internet for awhile, but thanks for the input.
I think the connectors are terrible- the wires are so delicate and the recommended angled removal is pretty dodgy.
I had the same problem, its a design flaw. You can work around it by charging your phone over a USB cable. Also do not drain the battery till it reaches red area or phone shuts down. Connect it to a charger as soon as it starts low battery audio alarms. You may buy a third party battery charger that allows you charge the battery away off the phone. Finally get another phone!
