did you get it repaired in a sony service center? if so you can tell them about this problem and maybe get it repaired again
Hi, thanks for your answer.
Sadly, it wasn't repaired in a service center.
Something I forgot to mention is that when testing the screen in Sony's Sketch app or in the service menu, if I run my finger from the top to the bottom, or the opposite way quickly enough, the lines my finger makes don't get cut, i.e. it's like the screen is functioning properly, with no dead spots. What could this mean?
Also, I wrote to Sony support, and from what I understood, their answer was that it could be some kind of a compatibility issue between the phone/touchscreen/LCD.
I'm almost sure touchscreens aren't the problem (excluding the compatibility thing), considering this "dead" area is a smooth line going from the left to the right, not like some random scratches, also it's located on the same place on both screens.
